You're Chasing the Wrong Freedom

It’s Monday again!

Today I had a thought.
I was riding my motorbike on Samoeng Road, slicing through jungle, rice fields, mountains, villages, one after the other. Wind in my face, mind wandering.

I was thinking about my life, just being grateful… blessed.

I’m Living in this small city in northern Thailand, Chiang Mai… I left my stable, elaborated life behind and dove into the unknown. Just like that, figuring out what the future holds.

Free from constant pressure. Free to breathe. Free to just be.

One year later, I’ve learned new skills. Skills that pay my rent, keep my little life here running. Blessed.
And it’s more than enough. Because what’s the point of having everything if you’re losing yourself?

Maybe I don’t make as much as I did in the capitalist metropolises of China (yet)…

but who cares. I’m happy.
I’ve gained more from nature, from self-development, from myself.

The real secret isn't in accumulating, but in aligning. Aligning your life with what truly makes you happy, what truly nourishes your soul. It's about crafting a life where joy isn't a luxury, but the foundation. A life where you're surrounded by beauty, by kind people, where every day offers discovery, not just demands.
